Sara’s Why

Sara found herself called to be a mother ever since she was a child playing with her American girl dolls. This calling stayed with her throughout her life. Once she married her college sweetheart, Zachary, they begun to try to start their family. Little did they know they were embarking on a very trying three year long journey to bring their daughter, Lucy into this world. Throughout this time they experienced heartbreak and loss.

Now that she is on the other side of this journey, with her daughter Lucy finally in her arms, her calling to document women's journeys to motherhood has never been more profound. Women go through incredible journeys to bring children into this world, we experience pain, heartbreak, joy, strength, and love that we could never imagine day in and day out while trying to bring children into this world and even once they are here.
